Meals On Wheels

This program delivers nourishing meals delivered  by volunteers to the homes of persons living in West Perth who:

• are not able to care for their own nutritional requirements;
• have no other person to prepare their meals;
• who have special needs identified by local health care professionals.

Meals are delivered Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays between 11:45 am and 12:30 pm.  Deliveries can be arranged for one, two or three days per week, or multiple meals per day.  Special dietary needs can be accommodated.  Cancellation or extra meals can be arranged by telephone with at least two hours notice required.

Frozen meals are also available by request.

Travelling Diners

The last Wednesday of each month.  An opportunity to travel to various eating establistments.  Must be booked in advance.

Congregate Dining

Dining for Seniors
This is an opportunity for seniors to gather together for an excellent meal, information and entertainment at an affordable cost. 

Neighbourly Services

Volunteers provide home support services for seniors and disabled persons in the Municipality of West Perth.  Available services include:

• Volunteer transportation to out-of-town medical appointments
• Grocery shopping help
• Minor home repairs / maintenance
• Volunteer friendly visiting

Bathing Program

Therapeutic baths can be arranged once a week in the spa tub at Ritz Lutheran Villa on Tuesday afternoons.

Coffee Hours

Coffee hours are a time for fellowship for residents who reside in the following senior complexes:

Wellington Terrace - 4th Thursday of the month

Other Activities

Special activities and outings are scheduled monthly.  These include monthly shopping trips, theatre trips during the summer months and seasonal outings, such as Fall Colours and Christmas Lights tours. Check the Community Outreach Calendar each month.
