Mitchell & Area Community Outreach strives to promote community togetherness and involvement. Through volunteer involvement, we are able to provide programs and services to enhance an individual's quality of life & promote independent living.
There are a variety of services that one can volunteer for including, but not limited to: To become a volunteer there are a few items that need to be completed. Interested individuals are required to complete an application form, provide 2 references and complete a criminal record check. A confidentiality form will also have to be signed. The confidentiality form ensures that all volunteers are aware that all matters pertaining to the operations of Mitchell & Area Community Outreach or personal information pertaining to the clients, members or families involved with Outreach is kept private and confidential. There will also be an interview with the Volunteer Coordinator. Once all steps have been completed, then one would be orientated to the volunteer position(s) they are interested in For anyone interested to volunteer, please download the Volunteer Application Package.
